Stroke Rehabilitation

Stroke Rehabilitation

Helping you regain movement, confidence and independence after a stroke.

Neurological conditions affect the brain, spinal cord and nerves — the systems that control how we move, feel, think, speak and balance. When these systems are damaged by injury or disease, everyday activities like walking, dressing or holding a cup can become difficult.

Our neurological rehabilitation programs are designed to improve movement, balance, coordination, strength, gait, functional independence and participation in daily life. We work with adults and children, combining physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy with advanced rehabilitation technologies.

How Neuro Rehabilitation Works

The nervous system has a remarkable ability to adapt — known as neuroplasticity. Through repeated, meaningful, task-specific practice, the brain and spinal cord can form new pathways and strengthen remaining ones. Our programs are built to make the most of this capacity with high-repetition, goal-focused training.

Common Problems We Address

  • Weakness or paralysis of arms or legs
  • Muscle stiffness (spasticity) and tightness
  • Poor balance and frequent falls
  • Difficulty walking or abnormal gait pattern
  • Reduced hand and arm function
  • Poor coordination and tremor-related difficulties
  • Fatigue and reduced endurance
  • Difficulty with transfers (bed, chair, toilet, car)
  • Speech, swallowing and cognitive-communication difficulties
  • Loss of independence in daily activities

What Treatment May Include

  • Neuro-physiotherapy (task-specific training, strengthening, stretching, balance and gait training)
  • Occupational therapy for daily living skills and upper-limb function
  • Speech and swallowing therapy
  • Robotic and exoskeleton-assisted gait training
  • Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES)
  • Virtual reality-based balance, coordination and cognitive training
  • Upper-limb technology training (e.g., Pablo system)
  • Balance platform training (e.g., TYMO)
  • Spasticity management, positioning and orthotic advice
  • Caregiver education and home exercise programs
