Relearning to walk requires thousands of repetitions of correct stepping. Robotic gait training uses a motorised system to guide the legs through a walking pattern — often with body-weight support — enabling patients to practise repetitive, task-specific walking earlier, longer and more safely than may be possible with manual assistance alone.

Who May Benefit

Stroke, spinal cord injury, TBI, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, cerebral palsy, GBS and other conditions affecting walking.

How It Fits Your Program

Robotic sessions are combined with overground gait training, strengthening and balance work so that improvements carry over into real-world walking.
